W.F.F.A. Article 11: Judging Categories

1. CONTROL - maintaining ball control by use of various stalls, showing different methods of control, different body parts

2. TRANSITIONS-smoothly moving from one foot or move or dynamic to another with ease and grace and fluidity

3. USE OF BOTH FEET - competitors showing control, manoeuvring ball and completing tricks with both feet

4. USE OF ENTIRE BODY - competitors showing control, manoeuvring ball and completing tricks with head, back, chest, thighs, shoulders, knees, back etc.

5. COMBINATIONS - combining two or more different moves, consistently completing the same move twice or more

6. STICKS - stalling, catching and grabbing the ball on/with different parts of the body

7. VARIETY OF TRICKS - the number of various tricks succeeded or attempted, the ability to perform a number of different tricks (pop ups, ground moves, air moves)

8. LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY - the effort required to perform trick, skill required to perform routine, the complexity of specific moves and overall performance

9. CREATIVITY - originality and imagination used to perform routine (consider entertainment factor and crowd reaction), presentation of performer and performance

10. BLOTTO – Originality or signature trick that pushes the envelop of the sport to new levels
